By simply phoning KRR on 6379 4360 during those hours, listeners can advertise their items free of charge or name an item they're looking for. Brian says it's surprising what they find.

“ We had one listener call in who was looking for a head gasket for a 1963 Holden. He was restoring a vehicle and needed this part. I didn't think he had much of a chance of finding one but you wouldn't believe it, a farmer had one hanging on the side of his shed. The listener was so excited he rang back to tell me.“

Over the years, the program has picked up a big audience, with listeners calling in from as far away as Portland, Wattle Flat and Gulgong. Brian says it's very satisfying when you find something for someone. He's sold items for as low as $10 and as high as a house. “Yes, that was a surprising one. We actually had a private sale of a house go through here once. I get thanked quite a lot,“ he said.
